While the box says the burgers are made from 100% USDA Choice Chuck beef, they don’t come pre-seasoned. So, you’ll want to add your own flavors to really make them pop. I personally recommend using some Kosher salt and black pepper, but you can also experiment with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, or your favorite barbecue dry rub.

Now, when it comes to cooking these burgers, there are a few things to keep in mind. I recently grilled mine on a charcoal grill, and I’ve got to say, they turned out pretty amazing. If you’re using a Weber Kettle Grill like me, the process is pretty straightforward.

Cook them on the other side until the internal temperature reaches 161 degrees F (72 degrees C). This will ensure that they’re fully cooked and safe to eat. After about 20 minutes of grilling, the Bubba burgers started to form juices on top. That’s when I knew it was time to flip them over and wait until they started juicing up on the other side. In just 10 more minutes, I had what looked like the perfect burger.

But before taking them off the grill, I wanted to make sure they were cooked to perfection. I inserted my trusty meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It’s optional but highly recommended.

 

Air Fryer

Air frying is a fantastic cooking method for frozen Bubba Burgers that not only makes them healthier but also gives them a crispy and juicy texture. To get the perfect air-fried Bubba Burgers, follow these simple steps:

Start by placing the frozen Bubba Burger patties in the air fryer basket, making sure they are in a single layer and not overlapping or overcrowding. This will ensure that each patty gets cooked evenly and thoroughly.

Next, set the air fryer to 370 degrees and let it preheat for a few minutes. Once it’s ready, put the burger patties in and cook for around 6 minutes on each side, for a total of 12 minutes. Keep an eye on the patties and adjust the cooking time if needed.

For those who like to add cheese to their delicious burgers, this is the perfect time to do it. Simply add the cheese on top of the patties and let it sit for 30 to 40 seconds so that it can melt.

To ensure that the burgers are fully cooked, make sure that the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees or 165 degrees for turkey and veggie Bubba Burgers. 

Pro tip: Sometimes, I want to add extra flavor when I cook frozen Bubba burgers in the air fryer, so I season them with salt, garlic powder, or my favorite burger seasoning.

There’s nothing quite like the taste of a juicy burger fresh off the grill. To get that perfectly charred and flavorful patty, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
